5 days to departure.

So here’s the plan for those who don’t already know, or need a refresher.  I’m travelling to Cuernavaca, Mexico, departing on the 5th, for four weeks.  During these four weeks, I have the awesome opportunity to reside with a mexican family (mexican food! YUM!) and I’ll attend IDEAL school to learn spanish.  My spanish is obviously not up to par, as I never took spanish in school and the only thing I do know is how to count to 10.  Even, trying to pass french, which I’ve taken since grade 5 would’ve been impossible without my awesome tutor the day before the exam.  And, with my plans to further my travels to South America, spanish is a necessity to not get AS lost as I normally would.

I’m currently visiting in Nelson, and it’s just starting to hit me, that I’m going to another country, by myself, for the first time EVER!  Scared, excited, nervous, curious; all of these words describe my feelings right now.  But anyhoooo, my plan (btw my plans aren’t actually plans, more like thoughts) is to post a blog every so often, posting my crazy adventures and possibly some pictures for those who are curious!  I’ll keep this nice and short, because it’s basically just a boring description of my AWESOME trip!

Good golly I’m excited!!
